Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, Michael graduated with a Master of Media Arts and Production at UTS in 2014. His portfolio features several short films and music videos, including Twenty Questions, winner of the Award of Recognition - Best Shorts Competition (2015) and Balaclava Man, produced as his major project at university.

Michael has a deep interest in psychological subject matter, portraying characters with inner emotional conflict and absurd/quirky idiosyncrasies. His work uses the power of expression to tell the story, appealing to the humanity and empathy of the audience.
